Role Title: Informatica / IDMC Developer
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid - 2 days per week on site)
Contract Duration: Until 31 December 2025
Day Rate: £318 (Inside IR35)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Informatica / IDMC Developer to join a team on a long-term contract. This role will focus on developing and maintaining ETL processes, supporting cloud migration initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and reliable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimise ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses or data marts.
*
Support the setup and cloud migration of Informatica IDMC.
*
Write efficient SQL queries, including joins and data comparisons across multiple tables.
*
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
*
Maintain and enhance existing ETL processes, ensuring accuracy, performance, and reliability.
*
Perform data quality checks and resolve issues across data pipelines.
*
Participate in code reviews and recommend improvements.
*
Document workflows and processes to ensure clarity and maintainability.
*
Apply and share best practices in ETL development and data integration.
*
Leverage scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting (advantageous).
Skills & Experience
*
Strong experience in Informatica development and IDMC cloud migration.
*
Solid understanding of data warehouse and ETL concepts.
*
Proficiency in SQL and database design principles.
*
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell) is beneficial.
*
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
*
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
*
Keen to learn and adapt to emerging tools and technologies.
Qualifications
*
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Hands-on experience with Informatica or similar ETL tools.
