Role Overview And Responsibilities
About The Role:
Playing a pivotal role within the Site Leadership Team, the HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR activity at a site, creating and cultivating an inclusive culture where employees thrive. The role acts as a trusted, strategic business partner to the Site Lead focusing on driving cultural initiatives, performance management, talent acquisition, engagement, retention, learning and development and workforce planning.
What You Will Be Responsible For
* Drive HR capability for the site, providing an efficient HR service to the business in line with business needs.
* Creating the Site’s HR plan in line with the Site’s Strategic Growth plan as well as functional HR objectives.
* Providing strong counsel and advice to the Leadership Team and Line Managers regarding performance management, talent, succession planning, organisation development and organisational change management and implement HR aspects of change programmes .
* Managing employee relations and attendance issues providing excellent coaching to line managers, employee support, case management and tracking.
* Drive engagement and collaboration via local employee forum.
* Execute annual Wellbeing and Engagement surveys and deliver trackable action plans driving improvements and a supportive high-performance culture.
* Provide oversight on Apprenticeship and early careers schemes.
* Keeping up to date with local HR legislation & best practice, developing local and regional policies & procedures where appropriate.
* Oversee HR compliance and governance, providing regular accurate HR data and KPIs at both site and regional level including headcount, demographics, absence, gender pay, holiday balances, engagement, talent, wellbeing and engagement.
* Implementation of Corporate initiatives at a local site level
* People management of HR Assistant with responsibility for ensuring payroll documentation and HR administration are completed in a timely manner to a high standard of compliance and accuracy.
* Providing support to the wider HR leadership team on HR operations and projects
* Other projects and reasonable management requests outside this non-exhaustive list!
Qualifications, Skills And Attributes
What We Look For:
* Proven experience in a similar HR Manager related role in a manufacturing, retail or adjacent industry.
* Approaches HR with a professional and commercial perspective.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to credibly influence at all levels and able to deal with people in a diplomatic and sensitive way, building rapport quickly with stakeholders.
* Expertise in HR systems is a bonus but not essential
* Demonstrates confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
* Highly organised, displays a high level of flexibility, able to multitask.
* Strong understanding of employment law which is applied in a pragmatic way.
* Highly computer literate, competent user of Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
* Ability to operate at all levels, from day-to-day HR administration and operational tasks to contributing at a strategic level, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* CIPD L5+ or international equivalent and a wish to work towards level 7 is desirable.

Our Recruitment Process
Initially we will reach out to you for an informal conversation about the role. This will allow you the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about TT, our site and our team. It will also give us the chance to learn more about you and your experience to date. At this point both parties have the opportunity to decide if they would like to continue with the process.
Formal Interviews will be held on site and include a tour, ideally w/c 11 August 2025
Due to the specific projects TT Electronics supports we are unable to sponsor work visas. Candidates will be required to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard Clearance
Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre and during employment drug and alcohol testing.
