You will work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, offering a balanced work schedule that allows for evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
* Minimum of two years’ proven catering experience
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
* Knowledge of special dietary needs, including vegetarian and cultural requirements
* Ability to engage children in simple snack preparation and baking activities
* Team player who collaborates effectively with the Nursery Manager and other staff
Responsibilities
* Prepare weekly menus in consultation with the Nursery Manager, ensuring alignment with the food and drink policy
* Manage meal planning and food ordering within the agreed catering budgets, ensuring compliance with the allergies policy and inclusion of all children, including those with allergies
* Maintain an organised kitchen, adequate food stores, and high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
* Engage in baking activities with children, promoting healthy eating habits among children and staff
* Maintain Safer Food, Better Business documentation daily to ensure compliance with food safety management procedures and food hygiene regulations
* Uphold high standards of personal hygiene and appearance in line with the company’s hygiene policy
