A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Senior Supply Chain Developer within Small Gas Turbine (SGT) Service, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of supply chain planning, delivery, and system capability. Your day will involve working closely with operational teams, supply chain leaders, and key stakeholders to improve performance, enhance SAP usage, and drive long-term capability across the service network. You’ll balance hands-on improvement delivery with strategic development, ensuring supply chain processes are robust, transparent, and aligned to business and customer needs.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across planning, delivery, logistics, inventory, and repair supply chains.
2. Identify gaps and opportunities across end-to-end supply chain processes, translating them into clear improvement actions.
3. Act as a senior SAP key user, driving effective system usage, governance, and data integrity across the supply chain.
4. Lead cross-functional improvement activity spanning manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, logistics, sales, and master data.
5. Improve supply chain transparency through KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting.
6. Define, document, and standardise end-to-end SAP and supply chain processes.
7. Train, coach, and support teams to build capability and consistency in supply chain and SAP practices.
8. Apply lean and structured problem-solving methods to improve lead times, delivery performance, and customer responsiveness.
9. Support cross-site collaboration, aligning ways of working and sharing best practice across service locations.
What You Bring
10. Strong experience in supply chain development, planning, or operational improvement within a complex service or manufacturing environment.
11. Advanced SAP knowledge across end-to-end supply chain processes.
12. Solid understanding of supply chain planning, logistics, inventory management, and service operations.
13. Proven experience leading improvement initiatives across multiple functions.
14. Strong process development and standardisation capability.
15. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and work effectively across organisational boundaries.
16. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into practical improvement actions.
17. Comfortable working internationally and across different cultures.
18. A structured, proactive approach with a clear focus on delivery and continuous improvement.
