Your new companyHays Education is working in partnership with a high-performing secondary school in Camden to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Food Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking Design & Technology department that is well-resourced and highly regarded within the school.The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4Your new role
* Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Inspire students to develop practical cooking skills, creativity, and nutritional understanding
* Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within practical lessons
* Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and department
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills
* A passion for food education and student development
* The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
