Responsibilities
1. Provide a comprehensive HR service to equip managers and employees with best practices for fostering a high-performance culture.
2. Manage the HR Advisor to ensure timely support for management cases, resolving issues in line with policy guidance and good practice.
3. Offer day-to-day advice on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness, and change management.
4. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
5. Coach and challenge management teams to learn lessons and develop robust action plans.
6. Support managers in monitoring and managing employee absence, including sickness.
7. Take ownership of non-employees, such as Consultants, ensuring compliance and IR35 checks to reduce business risks.
8. Provide advice and strategic support to improve organizational culture, performance, staff engagement, and talent management.
9. Promote the use of the performance development review process, advising managers and staff as needed.
10. Ensure accurate and timely recording of PDRs by managers.
11. Lead learning and development efforts, conducting needs analysis and developing training frameworks for key roles.
12. Support the Senior HR Director with regional and global projects as required.
13. Monthly and quarterly reporting on KPIs.
14. Other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills & Qualifications
Requirements:
- Strong HR generalist experience in the UK
- Hands-on attitude to managing day-to-day work and projects
- Team player who works well in partnership with colleagues
- Solutions-focused with the ability to prioritize business needs over processes
- Agile and flexible, able to switch tasks seamlessly
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a diverse team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Oracle HCM experience preferred; prior HRIS system experience required
- Highly organized with a methodical approach to work and record-keeping
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field desirable
- CIPD level 5/7 desirable
- Minimum of 6 years' HR experience in a fast-paced matrix organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
