As our Finance and HR Business Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting both our people and our business performance. Reporting into the General Manager and working closely with Cluster Finance, HR and the wider hotel team to balance colleague experience with commercial success.
What you’ll be doing:
* Finance: Manage day-to-day finance operations such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Income Audit whilst ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
* People: Partner with managers within the business to deliver the People Plan using IHG tools to drive engagement, wellbeing, and promote a positive culture across the hotel.
* Talent: Supporting managers with recruitment, onboarding, training, and probation processes. You will work alongside our off-site Talent Acquisition team, ensuring colleagues the best possible start and ongoing opportunities for growth and development.
* Commercial: Provide accurate forecasts, contribute to budget planning, and maintain strong financial controls to safeguard performance and support sound decision making.
* Compliance: Lead on HR policies, employment law requirements, audits, and accurate HR and finance record management. Always ensuring the hotel operates to the highest standards.

* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR and Finance role (ideally in hospitality or similar industry)
* Strong knowledge of AP, AR, Payroll, and Income Audit
* Experience with HR and finance systems (PeopleSoft, Opera/Micros, Procure Wizard, Oracle)
* Great organisational skills, able to juggle deadlines in a fast paced environment.
* A natural collaborator who builds strong relationships and drives performance through people
