Offer description

We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our HR team on a 3-month contract, supporting the delivery of core people processes across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 6–12 months+ HR administration experience and hands‑on exposure to Workday, looking to build on their HR career in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Reporting into the HR team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day HR operations, supporting the employee lifecycle, maintaining accurate records, and providing first‑line support to managers and employees.

This role would suit someone who is detail‑oriented, highly organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide day‑to‑day administrative support across the full employee lifecycle (starters, leavers, contract changes, onboarding).
* Maintain and update employee records within Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Support onboarding processes, including issuing contracts, coordinating inductions, and managing documentation.
* Act as a first point of contact for HR‑related queries from employees and managers.
* Support payroll processes by collating and providing accurate employee data.
* Assist with benefits administration and employee documentation.
* Support the wider HR team with ad hoc projects and administration tasks.

Skills & Experience

* Minimum 6–12 months’ experience in an HR Administration, HR Assistant, or similar role.
* Hands‑on experience using Workday (essential).
* Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Good understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle administration.
* Experience maintaining confidential employee records and HR data.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Good communication skills with a professional and approachable manner.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Knowledge of UK employment practices is desirable.
* Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Level 3 (or working towards) would be advantageous but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive HR team and make an immediate impact in a busy and people‑focused environment.
