Step Into Teaching is offering an exciting opportunity to join an all-through secondary school in Hillingdon as a Graduate Learning Mentor, supporting students pastorally across Key Stage 5. This role is ideal for graduates who want to make a tangible impact while gaining practical school‑based experience.
What you’ll do:
* Provide pastoral support to Key Stage 5 students, promoting positive behaviour, confidence and wellbeing
* Support learners in their academic and personal development
* Work alongside teachers, mentors and SEND teams to provide structured support
* Deliver 1:1 and small group sessions, prepare classroom materials, and contribute to a supportive school culture
Who we’re looking for:
* Hold a degree with a 2:2 or above
* Be approachable, friendly and resilient
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be motivated to inspire students and help them achieve their potential
* Take direction and initiative when required
* Bring creativity and reflection to their work within the classroom
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
