The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our South East England team. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of facades remediation projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a key position requiring proven leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all site activities in full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, minimising risks to operatives, visitors, and the public.
* Lead, supervise, and motivate direct labour and subcontractors to achieve high standards of productivity, workmanship, and site discipline.
* Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works meet quality requirements prior to sign-off and payment approval.
* Track progress against agreed programmes and budgets, attending and contributing to regular site and progress meetings.
* Coordinate snagging works and defect rectification, ensuring all items are managed and closed out within agreed timeframes using the Fieldwire system.
* Implement and enforce quality control procedures, promptly identifying and resolving technical or workmanship issues.
* Carry out regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and company standards.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records in line with company procedures, including drawings, daily logs, permits, and reports.
* Assist in the preparation of project close-out documentation, including Operation & Maintenance manuals and Health & Safety files.
* Monitor project costs against budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and liaising with suppliers to optimise procurement.
* Ensure the timely procurement and availability of materials, plant, and equipment in line with project requirements, while minimising waste.
* Undertake any additional duties necessary to support successful project delivery and wider business objectives.

Who We’re Looking For
* Proven experience working as a #1 Site Manager on live construction projects, ideally within facades, cladding, or fire remediation works.
* Strong knowledge and practical application of health and safety management on construction sites.
* SMSTS certification (essential).
* CSCS card (essential).
* First Aid at Work certification.
* Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, coordinate trades, and maintain control of quality and programme.
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience using Fieldwire or similar site management software is highly desirable.
* Ability to provide two recent references.
