Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef / Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. You will be responsible for fry up's and then creating delicious lunches and evening meals that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene in the kitchen.
Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute meal preparation efficiently.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations.
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
* Previous experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Shifts vary depending on businesses needs. Example shift patterns: 06:30am – 1:30pm, 1:30pm – 8:30pm, 10am – 5pm. We open at 7:30am daily and our latest opening time is 7:30pm, so there aren’t late nights involved in this role.
* Weekend work will be required as this is one of our peak times. We try to work rota, so everyone gets a weekend off over the course of a month where possible.
* 40 hours per week, with optional overtime
