In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications
* Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation
* Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
* Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes
* Serve meals to guests when required, providing excellent customer service
Qualifications
* Previous kitchen experience is essential, with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
* Culinary experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
