HR Manager
Salary: £37,505 per annum (with further increment rises available per annum)
Working pattern: 5 days per week (36.5hrs)
Location: Leeds. Hybrid working is available but a regular presence (3 days in the office) is essential.
Contract: Permanent

About the role
As HR Manager at Leeds University Union (LUU), you’ll lead the delivery of high-quality HR operations that support our people and drive our organisational goals. From recruitment and onboarding to payroll, systems, and compliance, you’ll ensure our HR services are efficient, inclusive, and aligned with LUU’s values.
Working closely with the Director of People & Culture, you’ll manage and develop a talented HR team, providing expert guidance across all areas of people practice. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver HR, including supporting new systems and process improvements, while building strong relationships across the organisation to help our managers and teams thrive.
The successful candidate won’t necessarily need to come from the Higher Education sector, will need to demonstrate a strong track record in building high-performing teams, delivering projects, and championing inclusivity.
