As a Business Developer & Board Member for GELITA in the UK, you will manage existing accounts, seek new customer opportunities, and oversee sales of Collagen Peptides and Gelatins, focusing on specialty portfolios. You will lead efforts to grow the region through new business development, manage key accounts, guide distribution partners, and contribute to the global strategy implementation. Additionally, you will handle regular business reporting, support local event organization, and manage the GELITA AG Representative Office in the UK.
* University degree in International Business, Business Administration, Food Technology or similar
* Minimum 5 years plus of work experience in B2B Sales
* Experience in the Food / Pharma / Supplement industry mandatory (Business to Business)
* Experience in selling Ingredients and/or Excipients, nutraceutical background definitely a plus
* Entrepreneurial leadership skills with orientation to the management of small teams, building up new businesses and working in matrix organization is important.
* Excellent communication skills in English, (native speaker), further languages desirable
* Preferably UK citizen
* You are willing to spend 3 – 4 months in Eberbach (Germany) for an intensive product knowledge training and join the European Sales team for customer visits during the Onboarding-process
* Excellent IT User skills in Microsoft 360 and Salesforce. SAP S4 HANA knowhow helpful.
* Experience in new market entries desirable
