Structural Steel Site Manager
We're recruiting an experienced Structural Steel Site Manager to for an initial 2 month contract for a project in East London.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage day‑to‑day structural steel installation
2. Supervise site teams & subcontractors
3. Ensure compliance with CDM, LOLER, PUWER and RAMS
4. Oversee lifting plans, QA checks, permits & site records
5. Manage steel deliveries, storage, and inspections
6. Ensure works meet BS EN 1090 and CE/UKCA standards
Requirements
7. SMSTS + CSCS Black/Gold Card
8. 5+ years' structural steel site management experience
9. Strong knowledge of steel erection, lifting ops & QA
10. Ability to read fabrication/erection drawings
11. Full UK Right to Work + Driving Licence
Desirable: Appointed Person, NVQ Level 6, First Aid, Temporary Works.
