We’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our Aylesbury branch — someone who can build strong relationships, drive results, and play an active role across the branch. You’ll be a key point of contact for our customers, offering expert advice and ensuring a first-class service at every touchpoint. This isn’t a behind-the-desk role — we’re a small team, so you’ll occasionally support in the yard or warehouse and may need to operate a forklift (training can be provided if needed). Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and commercial customers Respond to sales enquiries by phone, email and in person, offering expert product advice Raise quotes and process orders accurately and efficiently Proactively upsell and promote suitable products to meet customer needs Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, sales activity, and pricing Collaborate with colleagues across the branch to ensure smooth operations Provide occasional cover in the yard and warehouse, including forklift work if trained Support stock control and help ensure the branch remains clean, safe and well-presented Join us and be part of a team that values expertise, effort, and collaboration. Salary: £32,000-£36,000 Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme Requirements Proven sales experience, with a strong track record of hitting targets Background in the builders’ merchant or construction supply sector — ideally with civils or groundworks knowledge A team player who’s happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved wherever needed Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills Comfortable using IT systems and managing multiple priorities Forklift experience is desirable (or a willingness to train) Eligible to work in the UK
