About the Role
A mainstream secondary school in Lancaster is seeking to appoint a passionate and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their well-established team. This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience and contribute to students' learning journeys.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will not be required to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Instead, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining positive classroom behaviour.
This role is particularly suited to graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to make a meaningful impact in secondary education.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
4. A genuine passion for supporting the progress and development of secondary-aged pupils (KS3 & KS4)
5. Strong classroom presence and excellent behaviour management skills
6. Previous experience working with young people (e.g. youth work, tutoring, classroom support, etc.)
7. A degree is desirable, but not essential
