Contract Personnel are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our well-established client based in Watton.
In this role, you will assist with surface preparation and masking operations to ensure high-quality finishes on various projects.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and follow safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with preparing surfaces, including cleaning, masking, and priming.
* Carry out masking of areas that are not to be sprayed, ensuring precise and clean lines.
* Operate and maintain sandblasting and paint spraying equipment under supervision.
* Handle materials, tools, and supplies required for sandblasting, painting, and masking.
* Ensure the work area is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
* Assist in mixing and preparing paint, coatings, and other materials.
* Follow all safety protocols and wear protective gear as required.
* Assist with other general labour tasks as needed on site.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 0600-1400
(Opportunity for overtime available)
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
* Experience with masking techniques is an advantage.
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Ability to work well within a team and take direction.
* Good physical condition and ability to lift and carry heavy items.
* Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in construction or industrial settings.
Working Conditions:
* Physical work environment requiring standing, lifting, and handling heavy materials.
* Use of protective equipment, including respirators, goggles, and gloves.
