Overview
As the Site HR Manager you will align people strategies with the operational goals and growth ambitions of the organization. Your mission is to drive organizational effectiveness, enhance productivity, and foster a culture of innovation and engagement. This role demands both strategic vision and hands-on execution, as you will shape and implement human capital strategies that fuel growth, build talent pipelines, and drive change across the site. As a leader, you\'ll influence and support key HR initiatives, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with broader business objectives. This role is office based at our Filton site in Bristol.
Responsibilities
* Strategic Partner: Cultivate strong partnerships throughout the organization, shaping people strategies to create a high-performing and engaged workforce.
* Tailored HR Solutions: Design and implement HR initiatives customized to meet the unique needs of the business, driving performance and goal achievement.
* Change Agent: Serve as a credible HR leader and business partner, owning end-to-end execution of HR functions while identifying and driving meaningful change.
* Talent Pipeline Development: Ensure the site attracts, develops, and retains top talent at all levels, maintaining a continuous and diverse talent pipeline.
* Thought Partner: Collaborate with the Site Leadership Team to align people strategies with business goals, positioning HR as a key enabler of site success.
* HR Expertise: Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to proactively deliver initiatives that align with overall business and HR strategies.
* Culture & Talent Development: Lead cultural change efforts through strategic HR programs with a strong focus on talent management, employee development, and leadership coaching.
* Data-Driven Insights: Present relevant HR metrics and insights to guide business decisions, ensuring that human resources strategies drive measurable impact.
* Versatile Leader: Be both strategic and hands-on, providing expertise across organizational development, coaching, change management, compensation, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
* Additional Duties: Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
* 5+ years of HR Generalist experience across multiple HR functions (e.g., staffing, compensation, benefits, labor law), with leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Desirable: Experience within GKN or the aerospace manufacturing industry.
* Familiarity with HRIS/HRMS platforms.
* Recognized HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR).
* Strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite.
