Cook – Temporary Role (PVG Required)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a third-party client for a Cook to support a small residential setting in Broadford.
Role Details
o Location: Broadford, IV49 9AW
o Rate of Pay: £13.32 per hour
o Start Date: ASAP
o Duration: Temporary - weekly ongoing
o Hours: 8:00am – 5:45pm
Working Pattern (2-week rotation):
* Week 1: Monday, Saturday, Sunday
* Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and provide basic meals for 7 residents daily
* Support residents’ nutritional needs by fortifying snacks (adding calories as per individual care plans)
* Follow guidance from the Care Home Manager or shift lead
* Maintain hygiene and safety standards in line with catering requirements
Requirements
* Previous basic catering or cooking experience
* Understanding of food hygiene and safe food preparation
* Ability to follow dietary guidance and care plans
