Your new role
Site Manager required to oversee the conversion of an existing building into high-quality residential flats with a ground-floor commercial unit on the outskirts of Cambridge. This role suits someone confident managing refurbishment and structural alteration works, coordinating multiple trades, and maintaining tight control over programme, quality, and safety on a live site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
2. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers, ensuring smooth sequencing of works.
3. Oversee all aspects of the building conversion, including demolition, structural alterations, M&E installation, internal fit-out, and external works.
4. Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations, carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular inspections.
