We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Learning Mentor to join their passionate team. Transferable skills from social services, healthcare, or support work are highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Support pupils with SEMH needs in both classroom and off-site settings Build trusting relationships and act as a positive role model Help pupils regulate emotions and develop appropriate social interactions Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to individual needs Implement behaviour management strategies consistently and positively Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create a safe, engaging learning environment What We're Looking For: Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults Strong interpersonal and communication skills A calm, patient, and adaptable approach Passion for supporting children with SEMH and a commitment to safeguarding Knowledge of trauma-informed practice (desirable but not essential) Previous experience in SEMH, SEND, or care settings (highly desirable) Monarch Education are proud to be a leading recruitment specialist in the Education industry.
