Job Description:
Job information HR Administrator (Part time) from the Company Kelleher Group, located in Bexleyheath, United Kingdom. This role requires a GCSE education level.
We are looking for a passionate, organized, and meticulous person with a strong interest in data to join our team as a part-time HR administrator. You will provide a mix of HR administrative duties, project coordination, and wider employment relations matters.
No two queries are the same, so flexibility and quick-thinking are key. You'll need to be confident, an excellent communicator, and highly IT literate. Due to the nature of the role, you'll also need to be trustworthy, with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
The role is based on people management, recruitment, complaint handling, performance management, and appraisals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support, including day-to-day queries and escalating where necessary
* Provide assistance on project work, maintaining the HR communication calendar, and coordinating communications from the team
* Provide assistance with employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, appeals, and grievances
* Create regular and ad-hoc reports on the HR system using Excel
* Issue template letters to employees as and when required
* Assist with updating and reviewing policies and procedures
* Take minutes at disciplinary and capability hearings
* Maintain digital copies of employees' records
* Onboard new starters, including induction and filing all new employee documents
* Offboard leavers, including paperwork and managing exit surveys
* Update the HR system with accurate information
* Perform administration duties as necessary
Requirements:
* Basic understanding of HR processes
* Competent use of MS Office and Outlook
* Great attention to detail
* Interest in data collection, reporting, and analysis
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Project management experience
* Able to work across multi-disciplinary teams on a range of projects
* Able to work on own initiative and autonomously
* Previous HR experience in a construction-related industry is an asset
* A confident, knowledgeable, and resilient HR professional with strong communication skills
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent. Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per year. Working hours are flexible, based on 2 full working days per week, office-based in Bexleyheath.
Benefits include free parking and on-site parking. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 16 hours per week. Please note that this role is not available for remote work.
