The Head Teacher and Governing Body of Rogerstone Primary School are seeking to appoint a permanent site manager who will have responsibility for the security, maintenance and development of the whole school site and ensure that the school complies with all health and safety regulations.
Full‑time position, 37 hours per week. Working split shift from 6.30 am – 10.00 am and 2.30 pm – 6.30 pm (Monday‑Thursday) and 2.30 pm – 6.00 pm (Friday).

* Carry out a range of general site management duties.
* Be responsible for key holding and minor repairs.
* Have good inter‑personal skills and manage work effectively.
* Be responsible for Health and Safety.
* Monitor external contracts relating to premises and facilities and supervise staff through Service Level agreements.
The appointment is offered on a full time permanent contract.
Overtime hours are required to undertake tasks such as basic painting, decorating and additional Health and Safety paperwork.
Holidays must be taken during school holidays and not during term time.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
