Role Description
This is a contract position for a Site Manager role based on-site in Exeter. The Site Manager will oversee day-to-day activities on roofing projects, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and safety standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and team members, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, managing project progression, and communicating key updates to stakeholders. The individual will play a key role in delivering successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
* Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to oversee teams and subcontractors effectively.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations with a focus on compliance and safe working practices in construction environments.
* Project management experience, particularly in construction or roofing projects, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for collaboration with clients, team members, and third parties.
* Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure quality assurance and effective documentation.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction management, health and safety, or related fields (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS).
* Previous experience in roofing is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in project planning tools and software is a plus.
