Salary: £52,000 + 35 hours/week + Days-based role + Stability + Pension + 35 days holiday
About the Role
Are you experienced in estate or building management? Are you seeking an autonomous position with variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the estates team?
The Head of Estates is responsible for managing the Estates team, overseeing the development, condition, and security of the built estate and environment, and ensuring health and safety compliance.
As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will work closely with various managers and staff to deliver a professional, planned, and customer-focused maintenance service across the college.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an estates manager or head of estates, with substantial experience managing building projects and maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the building, operation, and maintenance of the estate in line with the College Estate Strategy.
2. Review, update, and implement the Estate Strategy.
3. Lead, develop, and manage the Estates and Maintenance teams to deliver efficient, effective, and customer-focused services.
4. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations through effective systems, policies, and promotion.
Candidate Requirements
* Management experience within estates.
* Significant experience managing building projects and maintenance programs.
* Experience managing budgets and understanding maintenance and capital delivery.
* Ability to plan, report, and present at senior management level.
