Ready Eats Ltd is an established catering company with an exciting and growing artisan meat pies, cakes and specialist ready meals business. We supply high-quality products to independent shops, pubs, restaurants and through our online platform. With a great product range and strong reputation for quality, we're now looking to significantly expand our reach into supermarkets, farm shops and new wholesale markets.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to join us at an exciting growth phase. You'll be instrumental in building our sales function from the ground up, creating systems and processes while driving substantial growth across our product portfolio. This can be Part-Time or Full-Time position with a minimum of 25 hours per week.
What You'll Do
Business Development & Growth
* Develop and execute sales strategies to secure new contracts with supermarkets, farm shops, independent retailers, and foodservice operators
* Build and manage a pipeline of wholesale opportunities across the region
* Identify emerging market opportunities and adapt our approach accordingly
Account Management
* Manage and maintain relationships with existing wholesale customers through regular communication and strategic visits where beneficial
* Review customer relationships to identify opportunities for growth and ensure satisfaction
* Handle customer queries, orders, and any service issues
Sales Operations
* Create and implement sales processes, systems and reporting
* Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular updates to management
* Maintain accurate customer records and sales forecasting
* Represent the company at trade shows, food fairs, and networking events
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
* Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within FMCG, food wholesale, or retail
* Experience building relationships with buyers in retail, foodservice or wholesale environments
* Comfortable with new business development and account management
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally

* £28,000-£32,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience
