Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as required.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
* Monitor stock levels.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, preferably within a restaurant or pub setting.
* Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is highly desirable.
* Culinary experience mandatory
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
