Senior Sales Executive – Integrated Technology Solutions (AV, Security, Control Rooms)

Reporting to: Business Development & Strategy Director

Start Date: Q3 2025 (or upon notice)

Ajar Technology is a UK-based Tier 2 systems integrator delivering converged Audio Visual, IP Security, and Control Room solutions across the transport, government, emergency services, and housing sectors. We operate at the intersection of innovation and integration – designing secure, smart environments for mission-critical operations. As we enter a phase of ambitious growth, we are expanding our sales team to drive new business and build long-term client relationships.

The Role

We are seeking dynamic Senior Sales Executive to join our team, focused on acquiring new clients and building trusted relationships in our target sectors. You will be selling a portfolio of integrated technology solutions, including:

* Audio Visual (AV) systems
* Video Management Systems (VMS)
* Open Platform Software
* Smart control room platforms
* AI-enabled solutions

This is a new business–driven role (approx. 70% new business / 30% account management) with strategic importance to Ajar's 2-year growth plan. You will be instrumental in expanding our market share, pipeline, and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify, engage, and convert new opportunities in target sectors: transport, public sector, housing, emergency services, local and central government
* Deliver consultative sales presentations and solution demonstrations with support from pre-sales specialists
* Manage a pipeline of qualified leads through to contract award
* Respond to bids, frameworks, and early engagement opportunities
* Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including end clients, consultants, and technology partners
* Maintain CRM discipline and produce accurate forecasts
* Represent Ajar at industry events, trade shows, and partner briefings
* Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to execution

What We’re Looking For

* 3–5+ years of B2B technology solution sales, in AV or CCTV and Access Control Security systems
* Proven track record in new business development and pipeline building
* Comfortable selling solutions not just products – can navigate complex stakeholder groups
* Knowledge of public sector buying routes and procurement is desirable
* Experience of Video Surveillance, Access Control, or AV systems a strong advantage
* Highly self-motivated, curious, structured, and resilient
* Strong communicator with excellent proposal-writing and presentation skills
