Salary: Grade 4 £10,721.76 per annum (plus enhancements if applicable)

Responsibilities
* Working as part of a supportive team
* Preparing and cooking 100+ meals daily
* Catering to individual dietary needs
* Supporting the public café (40+ covers): serving customers, using the till, and preparing table orders
* Following strict cleanliness and food provision policies
* Managing stock and placing orders
Requirements
* Experience in preparing and cooking meals
* Ideally, experience cooking for large groups, especially older adults
* Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
* Understanding of special dietary requirements
* Food Safety Level 2 and Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery (desirable but not essential – training provided!)
* Good numerical skills for stock control
Working Hours
Flexible shifts between 8am – 4pm, across 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer.
Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
