A rare opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Sales Executive to join the busy Sales department at our Lloyd MINI, Cockermouth retailer. With full training and ongoing support, you'll develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed while representing one of the most iconic and exciting brands in the industry. Working with the Retention and Sales Team, you'll help grow sales and provide outstanding service to every customer.
Salary: Basic Salary with OTE of £30,000
Hours: 45 hours per week
Role responsibilities:
1. Understanding and adapting to the customers' buying strategy and encouraging them to experience the product through test drives, which are carried out by the Product Specialist.
2. Agreeing on price and payment methods, including advising on any financing options with the customer directly, working within company guidelines.
3. Ensuring that each delivery is followed up with a personal phone call to check customer satisfaction. Maintain contact to build relationships and future business.
4. Planning and organising daily sales activities, such as telephoning prospects (previous/existing customers or general inquiries) to obtain new business.
5. Collaborating with colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless service to customers.
6. Participating in training and development opportunities to help the Group achieve its aims and objectives.
7. Planning, organising, and meeting work deadlines effectively.
8. Assimilating information quickly and providing considered responses.
9. Demonstrating a strong work ethic and adaptability to change.
10. Maintaining attention to detail and ensuring high-quality work.
11. Working to tight deadlines to meet business needs.
12. Reacting positively to organisational and market changes.
13. Being IT literate (PC, Microsoft, web) and holding a full UK driving license.
