Job Description
Spin Master is a leading global children's entertainment company that creates exceptional play experiences across Toys, Entertainment and Digital Games. This fixed‑term role (12 months) covers a maternity leave for a UK site of approximately 75 employees. The position is fully hybrid with 4 onsite days per week.
Responsibilities
* Act as the sole HR lead for the UK site, managing all day‑to‑day HR activities and supporting the full employee lifecycle.
* Lead and manage all employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance and absence management, and employee exits, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
* Provide coaching and advice to site leaders on people management, employee engagement and challenging situations.
* Own HR data management within Workday, maintaining accuracy across all lifecycle events and supporting system‑related queries.
* Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application and compliance with UK legislation.
* Collaborate with the VP of HR and wider HR teams to provide updates on site‑level matters and contribute to HR projects.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as HR Manager or similar, ideally in a standalone or site‑based role.
* In‑depth knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing complex employee relations cases.
* Strong proficiency with HRIS; specific experience using Workday is essential.
* CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification is desirable.
