Site Manager (Holiday Cover) – New Build Housing
Location: Godalming, Surrey
Contract: Temporary (Holiday Cover)
Duration: 1 week
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to provide holiday cover on a busy new build residential development in July.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and reliable Site Manager with a strong background in volume housebuilding to oversee day-to-day site operations and maintain programme, quality and health & safety standards during the cover period.
Site Manager Key Responsibilities:
* Managing daily site activities and subcontractors.
* Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
* Maintaining site health & safety compliance.
* Conducting site inspections and toolbox talks.
* Liaising with the Contracts Manager and wider project team.
* Monitoring progress and reporting on site performance.
* Ensuring excellent housekeeping standards are maintained across the development.
Site Manager Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build residential projects.
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work certificates.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme targets.
* Experience working for a housebuilder or residential contractor preferred.
* Available throughout July for the full holiday cover period.
