The ability to manage preventative maintenance is key. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Working as part of a small team carrying out tasks assigned by our Maintenance Manager. Carry out maintenance to the highest standards, in an efficient and timely manner. Work harmlessly with all departments, especially our housekeeping team with regards to all required maintenance. Get hands on with the day-to-day duties, from lightbulb changes to entire room renovations. Work in a manner which avoids obstructions, taking into consideration our guests and noise levels. Ensure all workspaces are left clean and tidy with safety notices in place where applicable. Compliant handling of tools and equipment, ensuring health and safety measure are met. Handle equipment with care, ensuring safe storage of all machinery. Interact with guests as/when required. Passion and determination to upskill. Always having the willingness to learn. About you: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred by not essential as full training will be provided. An eagerness to learn new skills is essential. Any qualifications or exposure to following is beneficial: PAT testing, electrics, plumbing, fire safety, carpentry, plant room management, health, and safety. A ‘can do’ hands on attitude is a must as our hotels are open 365 days a year. We are ideally seeking a candidate who is naturally considerate in their approach to all responsibilities.
