Salary: £45,000 – £57,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role
An established and growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead its Quality Department and ensure all processes meet the highest standards of excellence. This key position focuses on maintaining IATF 16949 compliance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring exceptional product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
 * Quality Management System (QMS):
 Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QMS in accordance with IATF 16949 standards. Conduct internal audits and ensure ongoing compliance with all customer and regulatory requirements.
 * Leadership:
 Lead and develop a team of quality engineers and inspectors. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence across the business.
 * Process Improvement:
 Use tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis to identify and implement process improvements that enhance quality and reduce costs.
 * Customer Focus:
 Act as the main point of contact for customer quality issues. Manage complaints, lead 8D investigations, and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
 * Supplier Quality:
 Work with suppliers to ensure their products and processes meet company quality standards. Conduct supplier audits and drive improvements in supplier performance.
 * Reporting and Documentation:
 Maintain accurate quality records and prepare reports for senior management. Track performance against key metrics such as customer complaints, internal audits, and supplier PPM.

About You
 * Proven experience as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
 * Strong understanding of IATF 16949 standards – must be a Lead Auditor
 * Skilled in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis
 * Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
 * Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline
