Responsibilities
The Labourer / Vehicle Marshall will be responsible for:
General Labouring
* Perform manual handling tasks including loading/unloading materials
* Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with daily operations
* Maintain cleanliness and order across the site
* Operate basic hand and power tools as required
Plant and Vehicle Marshalling
* Direct the movement of vehicles and plant equipment using approved hand signals
* Ensure safe reversing and manoeuvring of vehicles in restricted areas
* Identify and mitigate blind spot hazards and pedestrian risks
* Communicate clearly with drivers and site personnel to coordinate movements
* Establish and maintain safe standing zones for marshalling activities
* Monitor and enforce site traffic control measures and layout protocol

About You
Essential Criteria
* Valid Plant and Vehicle Marshaller certification (e.g., NPORS, CPCS, or equivalent)
* Basic understanding of site traffic management plans
* Good communication and situational awareness
* Previous experience in construction or logistics preferred
