Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Falkirk, is currently looking to recruit a Catering Manager for an initial 6-month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £18.96/hour PAYE.
Oversee the running of the Catering Department and ensure all events are set up in accordance with the booker’s requirements. To ensure the catering department is fully resourced including staffing, and all processes and procedures are adhered to by staff.
~ The management of the Catering department.
~ The management of catering rotas.
~ Implement and monitor catering cleaning standards.
~ Ensure adherence to regulations or the organisation’s policy.
~ Comply with the Organisation's Health and Safety Policy.
~ Help create and promote a positive health and safety culture.
HND in Hospitality Management or equivalent
~ Basic computer literacy.
~ Previous Catering experience.
~ Experience of working in events and/or hospitality catering
Certificate in Food Hygiene in Food Hygiene or equivalent
~ Experience using MS Office packages.
~ Gaelic language skills
