Job Purpose
Provide operational and analytical support to the Developer Obligations Team Leader in the assessment, coordination, and monitoring of developer contributions and Section 75 Agreements. Liaise with internal services, external stakeholders, and developers to ensure obligations are accurately calculated, tracked and delivered in line with planning policy and community needs.

PVG Membership
Roles requiring PVG membership: Candidates who agree to the Personal Vulnerability Group (PVG) membership will pay the cost of the membership. This applies only to roles with a full‑time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above. The Council will pay the membership cost initially (either £18 for existing members or £59 for non‑members) and deduct it from the employee’s first month’s salary.
Qualifications
* Degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning, Legal, or a related course within the built environment discipline
* Membership of an appropriate professional body related to the demands of the post (e.g. RTPI or RICS)
Skills & Competencies
* Effective communication and negotiation, including managing conflict
* Successful collaborative working with peers and stakeholders to achieve objectives
* Accessing and analysing data and information and producing cogent reports
* Workload and financial planning and management
* Use of ICT systems and programmes
