As an Event Sales Executive, you'll be the face of our brand, building relationships with local communities, corporate clients, and customers to showcase our venue's offerings. Whether securing new business or strengthening existing partnerships, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Here's some of what you will be doing:
1. Driving sales for three centres across Birmingham by creating and implementing sales and outreach activities that engage various groups.
2. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
3. Proactively sourcing and converting new business opportunities.
4. Collaborating with the centre operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
5. Achieving and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
6. Representing the brand at local events, such as university open days, to enhance brand presence.
7. Providing regular reports and insights to management.
8. Engaging in data collection and promotional activities, e.g., leafleting.
9. Monitoring competitor activity and industry trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications and skills required:
* Previous sales experience, ideally in the hospitality/leisure industry.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Professional and confident approach.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
* Creative with fresh ideas to drive sales.
* Team player with a collaborative mindset.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities or schedules.

* Willingness to travel locally or regionally as required.
