Job Title: HR Manager (Part-Time approximately 24 hours per week)
Location: Athlone
Salary: Based off of a salary of 65k per annum (pro rata)
Position Overview:
Our Client in Athlone is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join their team on a part-time basis. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the company in achieving its strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of a hardware business.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and legal requirements.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Support management in strategic workforce planning.
Manage the recruitment process for new hires, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate selection.
Oversee onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees into the company.
Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes engagement, collaboration, and professional growth.
Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts as needed.
Identify training needs and develop programs to support employee development.
Organize workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities.
Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting goals.
Assist in managing employee performance issues and improvement plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Manage payroll-related queries and liaise with finance where necessary.
Track and manage employee leave, absences, and benefits.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.KSGalway
