Site Manager – Decarbonisation Projects (Wales)
Be part of a 10-year NHS infrastructure transformation
We are working closely with a respected engineering and infrastructure partner to support the NHS Wales estate through its long-term decarbonisation programme. These projects are high-impact, community-focused, and will unfold over the next decade, shaping the way energy is managed in critical public buildings.
The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for site-level coordination and delivery on key NHS projects within the South West region. These roles are crucial in delivering the earliest and most visible benefits: lowering carbon emissions, cutting energy waste, and improving resilience.
Responsibilities Include:
*
Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of M&E works.
*
Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and logistics planning.
*
Implement and manage site-level health and safety procedures.
*
Interface with project stakeholders and act as the on-the-ground contact.
*
Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, and NHS representatives to deliver on agreed scope.
*
Ensure timely handover, accurate record keeping, and compliance with NHS and Welsh Gov frameworks.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experienced Site Manager with mechanical or electrical bias (depending on PM pairing).
*
Experience working in healthcare, public sector, or M&E refurbishment projects ideal.
*
Knowledge of sustainable energy retrofits, building fabric improvements, and working in live environments a plus.
*
Comfortable working across multiple regional sites with long-term stability.
This is more than a short contract — it’s a ground-up infrastructure shift, with committed funding and long-range planning already in place
