The Role:
You’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional team focused on delivering cutting-edge web experiences. As a key contributor, you’ll:
* Lead frontend development on high-visibility projects
* Build clean, scalable, and SEO-optimised code using modern frameworks
* Mentor junior developers and help shape frontend architecture
* Collaborate with product owners and designers from concept to delivery
What You’ll Bring:
* 3+ years of frontend development experience
* Strong skills in HTML, CSS/SCSS, and vanilla JavaScript
* Proficiency with React and state management tools (e.g. Redux)
* Deep understanding of performance optimisation and Core Web Vitals
* Solid grasp of SEO best practices and accessibility standards
* Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Bonus points for experience with:
* Testing tools like Vitest, Jest, or Playwright
* CI/CD pipelines and atomic design principles
Working Environment:
* Flexible Hybrid / Remote model: You will need to be local to the Gateshead office and willing to attend the office when needed.
