Your New Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and introduce new features and functionalities using the AL language within Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring our systems remain at the cutting edge.
* Work closely with functional consultants and users, capturing requirements and delivering solutions in an agile, collaborative environment.
* Continuously refine and enhance existing functionalities to boost performance and elevate the user experience.
* Ensure all developments are rigorously tested before deployment, upholding the highest standards of quality.
* Manage application environments and oversee release processes, adhering to IT standards for delivery within a three-tier environment.
* Collaborate with fellow IT team members to integrate Business Central with other systems and applications, fostering seamless connectivity.
* Provide technical support and training to users as needed, empowering colleagues to make the most of our technology.
* Stay abreast of the latest trends and updates in the Business Central community, ensuring our solutions remain relevant and forward-thinking.
* Participate in code reviews to guarantee adherence to coding standards and best practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Business Central and its integrations, ensuring smooth and reliable operations.
Desirable Qualifications and Professional Memberships
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Accreditation in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Development is highly regarded.
Desirable Knowledge and Experience
Demonstrable experience as a Junior Business Central Developer or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with Power Platform integration, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
Proficiency in the AL programming language and a solid background in Dynamics 365 Business Central development.
Familiarity with APIs and web services.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Experience with version control tools such as GIT or Azure DevOps.
