Pertemps West Bromwich are currently looking for a Quality Manager on behalf of our chemical manufacturing client in West Bromwich. This is a dual role covering a small team in QC and QA management for the company. The role reports to the Managing Director.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Key Duties

o Provide leadership, guidance and support to the QC and QA functions.
*
o Maintain and improve the ISO9001 and other standards and systems.
*
o Be the prime contact and guide for all site quality audits
*
o Provide technical guidance to our customers on our products and manage any specification queries
Quality Manager Skills & Requirements
*
o Chemistry degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years experience of analytical chemistry GC/GCMS/HPLC in an industrial environment
*
o Good understanding of laboratory management systems i.e. COSHH, SDS databases, document control etc.
*
o Previous experience of GMP would be useful
*
o Previous management or supervisory experience required
*
o Good leadership and interpersonal skills
*
o Thorough understanding of ISO requirements
*
o Ability to work as part of a small management team
*
o Excellent communicator
*
o Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
Hours of work are pm (36.25 hours) paying £29.17 per hour. xsngvjr
