Overview
Sales Executive / Sales Manager required for a freight forwarding company that covers the M62 corridor from Leeds to Manchester. This sales role combines meeting clients to build relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, securing repeat business and growing your patch. The role offers a hybrid approach with 2 hybrid days and 3 office days, though some office days may involve meeting clients. The job title is a Sales Executive, however the role/Package is more of a sales manager role.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maximise sales on your patch; build relationships with new and existing clients and identify opportunities to grow GP on freight solutions.
* Meet clients face-to-face and via phone/Zoom; contribute to the full sales cycle from lead to close.
* Drive repeat business and expand the patch across the M62 corridor.
Experience / Qualifications
* Air or Ocean freight sales background.
* Understanding of the freight forwarding market.
* Ability to conduct face-to-face meetings and also phone/Zoom meetings.
Salary and Benefits
* £35k basic salary + up to £7,500 annual bonus.
