To provide professional, responsive, and efficient administrative and reception support to LIA projects, programmes, and services, ensuring effective communication and smooth day-to-day operations. The post holder will also provide support to Ligoniel Community Enterprises (LCE) and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibilities
* Provide front desk reception duties including welcoming visitors, answering calls, and responding to enquiries.
* Deliver general administrative support across LIA, including preparing documents, correspondence, reports, and meeting papers.
* Maintain accurate filing and information management systems.
Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in an administrative or clerical support role.
* Proven ability to deliver high quality administrative support.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Good numeracy and literacy skills (minimum GCSE English & Maths or equivalent).
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
* Experience of working in a community/voluntary sector organisation.
* Knowledge of funding applications and monitoring processes.
* Familiarity with social media and digital communication tools.
* Previous experience of supporting events, workshops, or training.
