Quality Manager
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing business, near Christchurch, serving highly regulated industries, including aerospace and other advanced engineering sectors. This is a full-time, site-based position responsible for leading and developing the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory requirements while driving a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring the business remains audit-ready at all times.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and maintain the companys Quality Management System (QMS).
2. Ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
3. Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits, accreditation assessments, and customer quality reviews.
4. Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and drive effective root cause analysis.
5. Monitor, analyse, and report on quality performance metrics and KPIs.
6. Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
