The Role
As a Food Technology & Textiles Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 in Food Technology and Textiles
* Develop students' practical skills, creativity, and understanding of design principles and nutrition
* Use a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, including those with diverse abilities
* Prepare students for assessments and encourage enthusiasm for the subject
* Support extracurricular activities such as food clubs or textiles projects
Person Specification / Requirements
To succeed, you will:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Have experience teaching Food Technology and Textiles in a UK secondary school setting
* Be confident in delivering practical and theory lessons that engage students
* Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
* Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment where possible
