An over-subscribed and well-regarded secondary school in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of its busy school site as soon as possible. This is a key operational role within the school, ensuring that the premises remain safe, secure, and well maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors. The Role As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective management of the school site and premises, ensuring all facilities operate efficiently and in line with health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of school buildings and grounds Ensuring compliance with health & safety, fire safety, and statutory requirements Managing planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs Supervising site staff and coordinating daily caretaking duties Liaising with contractors and monitoring work carried out on site Supporting security procedures including opening, closing, and alarm systems You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to maintain a safe and professional school environment.
