The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organizations human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
* Recruitment and hiring:
* Write job descriptions, advertise openings, screen applications, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions.
* * Onboarding and training:
* Manage the orientation process for new hires and coordinate training programs to ensure employees are prepared for their roles.
* * Compensation and benefits:
* Administer and manage employee compensation, health insurance, and other benefits programs.
* * Policy and compliance:
* Develop, enforce, and update company policies and procedures, and ensure the organization complies with federal, state, and local labor laws.
* * Employee relations:
* Act as a liaison between employees and management, resolve employee conflicts, and manage employee performance and grievances.
* * Strategic planning:
* Consult with top executives on strategic planning, develop HR strategies that align with business goals, and use HR metrics to support decision-making.
* * Performance management:
* Oversee a performance appraisal system to drive high performance and provide guidance to managers on performance management procedures.
* * Employee engagement:
* Develop and implement strategies to improve employee morale, engagement, and retention.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree or relevant experience
* 5+ years experience in Human Resources
* Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
* Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
* Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
* Attention to detail and good judgement
